Train Station

Here is a photo of an old run down train station not to far from me.  I must of driven by this station a million times always wanting to stop to take a photo.  Finally, I did.  I think it makes a neat photo.  Even though the train still uses these tracks, the train station hasn’t been open in years.

Tropical Storm Fay

Here is a photo on Clearwater Beach as everyone was waiting for Tropical Storm Fay to hit the gulf coast.  I have never seen the beach so empty.  Luckily for those vacationing there, the storm decided to go around and miss this beach completely.

Jamaican Clouds

Notice the clouds in the sky - they are glowing from the rising sun.

Mexican Grill

This is a photo of an outside restaurant.  I used Photoshop CS3 to change the photo a bit by using the filter option, crackle tool .  It gives the photo just a little different look rather than your ordinary picture.

Morning Palm

This photo was taken on the beach in Jamaica as the sun was rising.  I used the Nikon D300 with exposure at 1/640 second at f/13.  Even though the Palm tree is dark, I like the way the background is lit up by the sunrise.

Peaking Sunrise

The morning I decided to get up and catch the sun rising, that would be the morning full of clouds.  But if you look very closely, you will see that the sun is peaking through above the water where there is a crack in the clouds.  This photo was taken in Jamaica at the Sandals Dunn River Resort.

Draped Fruit

The original photo was of the whole statue.  To make it more of an interesting photo, I cropped out everything but her hands and fruit.  I used photoshop and turned the image to black and white.  I took the brush tool and painted the entire photo white.  After I used the brush tool to paint each piece of fruit to make the photo have a bit of color.

Guissippe

You can find this great restaurant in Jamaica at the Sandals Whitehouse Resort.   This photo was taken with my Nikon D70 with an f/6.3 at 25mm focal length on a bright sunny Jamaican day!  What captured my attention was the bright colors in this building especially the orange!
