Key to Reflection

Piano making in the country of Estonia was an art practiced during the late 18th centure and began as early as 1779. The craft flourished during the late 19th and the early 20th century. After Estonia regained its independence in 1991, the piano factory was purchased from te government by the employees. Today, Estonia pianos have received recognition throughout the world.

When I look at the photo, I half-expect the world-class pianist to step into the frame, sit down with her hands raised in position over the keys , and then start playing “Mozart’s Requiem” or “The Polonaise in C Minor” by Chopin.
