Here is a photo on Clearwater Beach as everyone was waiting for Tropical Storm Fay to hit the gulf coast.  I have never seen the beach so empty.  Luckily for those vacationing there, the storm decided to go around and miss this beach completely.

This photo was taken on the beach in Jamaica as the sun was rising.  I used the Nikon D300 with exposure at 1/640 second at f/13.  Even though the Palm tree is dark, I like the way the background is lit up by the sunrise.

You can find this great restaurant in Jamaica at the Sandals Whitehouse Resort.   This photo was taken with my Nikon D70 with an f/6.3 at 25mm focal length on a bright sunny Jamaican day!  What captured my attention was the bright colors in this building especially the orange!
